Yes. Our remote support platform is self-hosted on Network Lab’s own infrastructure — your data never passes through a third-party cloud. Every session is encrypted end-to-end, and all connections are logged with timestamps for your records. You can see what the technician is doing on your screen in real time and can disconnect at any time.

No. For one-time support sessions, the agent runs temporarily and does not install anything on your computer. If you’re a managed client and want ongoing remote support capability, we can install a lightweight background agent — but it only activates when you request support or grant permission.

Only if you’ve explicitly enabled unattended access as a managed client, and only our authorized technicians can connect. One-time support sessions require you to be present and actively grant permission. You’re always in control.

Most IT issues can be resolved remotely: software installation, printer problems, email configuration, virus removal, slow performance, network troubleshooting, Windows updates, and more. If the issue requires hands-on work — hardware failure, cabling, equipment replacement — we’ll schedule a same-day on-site visit anywhere in Monmouth, Middlesex, or Ocean County.
